Gus Benson is a 23 year old songwriter, producer, multi-instrumentalist, and audio engineer. Originally born and raised in North Carolina, Gus’ music has been shaped by the folk tradition, with Appalachian music, blues, and roots comprising the foundation of his repertoire and a jumping off point for musical exploration. Gus graduated from Brown University with a B.A. in Music in the spring of 2024 and is currently pursuing a career in audio-engineering and music production while he continues to work on his solo artist project. Outside of the woodshed, Gus enjoys surfing and restoring vintage motorcycles.
